Commission Process

TYPICAL COMMISSION PROCESS:1) You fill in the commission request Google form2) I will send you an email, accepting (or declining) your commission request, asking you any additional questions if needed, and then informing you about the expected delivery time and total priceNOTE: If you have not received any answer from me weeks after your request, please check your spam folder! I will always contact you, even if it is to politely decline your request.3) You need to answer the email to let me know if you agree with the timing and price and wish to proceed with the order, and I add your slot to the waitlist4) When your slot's time is approaching, I send you the invoice on the previously agreed amount to be paid5) After it is paid, I get to work and keep you posted about the progress (share the sketch, lineart, early coloring stages)6) Done, you receive your commission, yay!Additional info can be found amongst the Terms of Service.For any commercial commission questions, feel free to send me an email first, if the form does not cover the scope of your project.

Commission Prices

PERSONAL-USE CHARACTER ART COMMISSIONS PRICELIST:Being an Europe based artist, my default prices are in EUR, but I also accept USD (the final price will be converted from EUR to USD using the current exchange rate).These are the base prices. The final price is dependent on complexity and will be specified for the concrete request in the initial negotiations.

Extra payments:
- Additional characters in one picture: 2nd char for 75% of the base price, 3rd (and more) for 50%
- Props such as weapons, pets or miscellaneous items are priced additionally depending on their complexity
- Express fee - if you are in a rush and cannot wait the regular queue time I tell you about at the beginning of our negotiations (usually several weeks), you can request Express treatment and pay additional 30% to get your commission done as soon as possible (details to be agreed in each case)
- Any changes to the concept (within the initially agreed scope) requested AFTER the sketch and basic colour layout (as I present them after starting my work on the project) has been already approved by you.
- more complex backgrounds to be discussed, would be charged based on the complexity (usually in range of extra 20 - 100 EUR)

COMMERCIAL COMMISSIONS:
For commercial-use commission (e.g. re-selling the picture or its prints, using it for promotion and advertising of your own business, using the design on merch, as illustration/cover of a book etc.), please inform me beforehand in order to discuss the adjusted conditions and prices (around additional 100% of what the personal commission price would be, depending on the intended use and my evaluation).a) You are required to fully disclose your intended use of the art.
b) If NDA is required from your side, inform me beforehand.
c) Unless we sign a contract that says otherwise, I am able to post the picture on my own terms as well.
d) The prices for commercial commission are individual and will be determined in our negotiation, the are generally dependent on complexity of the design, the expected amount of work and the intended scale of its commercial use.
- Book covers usually range between 450 - 900 EUR, depends on complexity.
e) If possible, please aim to have at least 1 month time buffer before your deadline when commissioning me.

Terms of Service

THEMES AND TOPICS:WILL DO:
- character art and design
- animals (they cost the same as a character / additional character)
- light NSFW (including soft nudity, not too explicit violence/gore, dark themes, sensitive topics - we can discuss what is possible :)
- weapons/items/accessories
- RPG character design, including gear and pets
- DnD groups
- fan-art of existing characters
- book coversWON´T DO:
- realistic portraits from photo reference (no relatives, no pets)
- realistic detailed machinery, cars etc.
- logo designs
- anything I am too unfomfortable withOWNERSHIP:
- The default agreement is that the artwork is for PERSONAL USE and no commercial use is allowed. Commercial work needs to be negotiated beforehand and has different pricing.
- I own the artwork, you do not purchase the ownership of the work and you are not allowed to edit out my signature (unless agreed otherwise in commercial commission).
- You receive digital picture, there will be no physical product to ship.
- You are allowed to post my work online, but please don't forget to credit me as the author, and mention my Instagram account (@linda.noeran) or other online portfolios of mine.
- I have the right to alter, modify and post the drawing anywhere, and use it to promote myself, unless stated otherwise in case of commercial work. If the commission is meant as a surprise gift for someone for a certain date, inform me so that I can postpone publishing it accordingly.
- You can provide a picture of a character that does not belong to you as a reference, but only as inspiration, pointing out what you like about it, but I will interpret it in my own style and will not make exact copies.PROCESS:Pre-commission:
- Requesting commission is done via Google form. #1 is general Commission Request (link available here), #2 is Commission Order with character/illustration details and references and payment info (I send you a link in an email after I accept the commission).
- All commission relevant communication shall be done via email, in order to avoid scattering and losing info in multiple channels. Make sure to keep an eye on your email inbox and answer asap during the time of the commissioned work.
- I have the right to decline your commission request without specifying the reason.Payment:
- Payment is made in full upfront.
- Accepting payments in EUR or USD.
- If you need to pay in any other currency, the invoice will be in EUR and it will be processed by the automated exchange rate change (by PayPal or bank) to EUR, so please count with some additional small fee for the service by the provider in such case.
- Payment is done based on the electronic invoice that I create and send to you before I start working on the assignment.
- I will require your real name and billing address for the invoice.
- I offer two options of payment methods:

=> Bank account transfer (to European account, via IBAN)
- To pay the PayPal invoice, click the green button "Pay Online" on the e-invoice.Commission:
- I decide the order of commission slots and which is done next, with our previous timeline agreement in consideration, prioritizing "express orders" and commercial commissions.
- You are required to look at and approve the shared updates (milestones such as sketch, lineart, base colours phase) when I send them to you, to ensure you will be happy with the result.
- No change of already approved content is possible (if it is really needed, I will charge an additional fee for reworking it). Quick fixes or changes needed due to my own negligence are for free.
- I am not responsible for delay in delivery caused by the customer’s lack of communication.
- The final piece resolution will be in PNG format, 300 dpi, around 3600 x 3000 px in dimensions, unless requested otherwise by you in the initial negotiations.Refunds:
- Refunds are not garanteed.
- After payment, if you cancel a commission in early stages of progress, I will refund 50% of the price. Once I've reached the final stages of your commission (after reviewing and greenlighting the concept with you), you are no longer eligible for a refund.
- I will refund fully if I fail to complete the accepted and paid commission due to my personal reasons.Please do not hesitate to contact me in case of any questions or concerns! :)By paying for work you are hereby confirming that you have read, understood and agree to the terms of service.
